This product is a 12-point hot heading upper die, a core mold component developed by Yuntai Precision for high-load fastener forming scenarios. It is suitable for the hot heading forming process of 12-point special-shaped fasteners. With high-hardness materials and precision machining technology, it can stably achieve efficient forming of complex structures.
2. Core Material
This mold adopts a composite material combination to balance hardness and toughness:
· Working Area (Inner Hole Forming Part): Made of tungsten steel (cemented carbide) with a super-high hardness of HRA 90 or above. It can withstand high temperatures and high impact forces during hot heading, ensuring forming accuracy.
· Base Part: Made of H13 hot work die steel, which has excellent thermal fatigue resistance and toughness. It effectively disperses stress during the forming process and prevents mold cracking.
